Mining Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Production Supervisor for its underground / surface mine location based out of Noblesville, Indiana. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in managing all safety, operational, financial, environmental and personnel duties for the plant in accordance with company programs, policies, and guidelines as well as government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of the hourly workforce
• Successfully implement the Company's safety and environmental processes
• Successfully lead and manage to established production, safety and environmental objectives and metrics
• Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Be proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office programs and other similar programs
• Strong mechanical background
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

This position will supervise hourly direct reports.

This job operates frequently in a maintenance and operations environment in a surface plant and UG mine location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, and copier.

This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.
