Are you someone who enjoys helping others and making a real difference in someone's life? Home Helpers of Bergen County is seeking compassionate and proactive Companion Caregivers to support our clients who wish to remain independent in the comfort of their own homes.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with clients and help them maintain dignity, routine, and connection. We offer flexible part-time hours with weekday and weekend availability - morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are open!

Position Highlights :

• Location : Bergen County, NJ (local assignments)
• Schedule : Part-time with flexible weekday & weekend shifts - mornings and afternoons available
• Pay : Starting at $16 per hour
• Start Date : ASAP

What You'll Do :

• Provide companionship and social support
• Assist with light household tasks, meal prep, and medication reminders
• Encourage and promote independent living
• Drive clients to local errands, appointments, and outings
• Be a friendly, proactive presence in the home

Requirements :

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience as a caregiver or companion is a plus, but not required
• Must be reliable, friendly, and proactive
• Comfortable working in a one-on-one setting
