The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a full-time Associate Instructor position in the Truck Driving program at the Clarksville Campus.

GENERAL DUTIES: The Truck Driving Associate Instructor is responsible for working in conjunction with a second instructor to provide individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult students to prepare them for employment as commercial truck drivers. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: safety regulations; driving techniques for various situations; truck and trailer operation; hazardous materials transportation, etc. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software and other required databases; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; assist in recruiting new students; assist with graduate placement; develop, maintain and update program curriculum and lesson plans, and participate in professional development. This position must also maintain good public relations with business and industry; maintain an active advisory committee, and cooperate with outside agencies. The position is full-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 . to 3:30 . Scheduled class hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 . to 2:30 . Instruction is delivered in-person. This is not a remote work position.
SALARY: $50,894-$61,074 annually ($26.10-$31.32 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.
