This is a rare, high-paying locum opportunity you don’t want to miss. The facility has an immediate need for support in a hospital-based, high-acuity cardiothoracic surgery setting.

🔧 Position Details :

🏥 Setting : Inpatient / Hospital-based

📅 Schedule : Weekdays, weekends, and night call (varied shifts)

📆 Dates : ASAP

📋 EMR : Cerner

🚑 Trauma Designation : None

👩‍⚕️ Average Caseload :

Assist in 2 surgeries / day

Round on 5–12 patients / day (ICU & floor)

🛠️ Key Responsibilities & Procedures :

🩹 Rounding, Coordination of Care, First Assist in OR

🧪 Diagnose, Treat, Order / Interpret Tests, Prescribe

✂️ Suture Removal, Chest Tube Insertions

🔍 Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)

🫀 Vascular Tissue Retrieval for Bypass Conduit

📌 Requirements : ✅ NCCPA Certified

📍 New Jersey License – REQUIRED (no time for new licensing)

🧠 2–3+ years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience

💻 Cerner experience – preferred

🛡️ Certs : ACLS, BLS, PA-C
