Federated Hermes Summer Internship Program provides students the opportunity to gain "hands on" experience and develop professional skills as well as the ability to network with talented professionals and gain insight into career possibilities within the asset management industry. The program includes a variety of events to enhance your internship experience, provide information about the firm and foster collaboration.

Purpose of the Internship:

As an Investment Management Intern, you will receive a broad and in-depth understanding of the investment process through assisting portfolio managers and analysts in completing projects that support the investment decision making process.

Major Duties:

• Perform sector, attribution, valuation, market, and competitive analysis
• Attend weekly trading meetings and prepare relevant reports

Hours/location:

• 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Cleveland, OH
• Hybrid work arrangement (in office / remote)

Explanatory Comments:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
• Solid oral and written communications skills

Position Specifications:

• Pursuing a degree with a concentration in finance, business, accounting or related major preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Products including Word and Excel required; PowerPoint preferred
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and coding a plus
• Knowledge of investment industry and mutual fund terminology preferred
