$1,800 Sign-On Bonus! JCC teachers can earn a one-time new hire bonus of $800 at 90 days, and an additional $1,000 after six months in the role.

Overview : The principle duties of the Assistant Toddler Teacher include collaborating with the Lead Teacher to develop weekly curricular plans; cooperating with home base team to implement and evaluate classroom activities; overseeing the physical well-being of the children; maintenance of the classroom, classroom materials and equipment; and contributing to the overall operation of the Early Childhood Program.

General Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Head Teacher to provide a nurturing environment in which all children feel welcomed and secure.
• Meet NAEYC and Keystone STARS
• standards.
• Adhere to the standards outlined in the JCC Early Childhood Program Handbook for : Following DHS regulations, Communicating with families, Care of facility and equipment, Record keeping, Curriculum, Health and safety procedures, Teamwork
• Attend regular meetings for your teaching team, the Early Childhood Program, and the JCC.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.
• Time used to support the JCC in meeting Keystone STARS quality standards is funded by Keystone STARS. If the JCC should lose this funding, then time used in meeting these standards would be used to complete other assigned duties as listed in this description, or hours would be reduced directly proportionate to time used to meet these standards as a floater.
