Join our team as an Inventory Management Associate! In this vital role, you will facilitate the seamless movement and management of inventory across various areas, including the dock, sales floor, product repair, and customer pick-up and delivery. Your contributions will ensure that merchandise is evaluated correctly and shipped efficiently while managing our valuable inventory flow.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Fulfilling order requests by staging merchandise and preparing for timely shipments.
- Evaluating incoming products and assigning them to designated processing zones.
- Coordinating the movement of merchandise between the dock, stockroom, sales floor, customer pick-up, and delivery, while promptly removing sold items from the sales floor.
- Auditing the accuracy of the Hold for Merchandise (HFM) staging area.
- Assembling merchandise and fixtures for seasonal displays or floor plan changes.
- Processing receipts while maintaining controlled, monitored, and logged inventories.
- Creating documentation for all customer shipments and deliveries.
- Ensuring exemplary customer service during all customer pick-ups and inquiries.
- Reporting unsafe or unethical conditions to store management.
- Collaborating with the sales floor team to ensure timely movement of merchandise and adherence to presentation standards.
- Upholding company policies to protect company assets during customer pick-up procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including daily housekeeping tasks.
- Providing assistance to customers during merchandise loading and securing items in their vehicles.
- Taking on additional duties as needed, including sales support after cross-training.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move at least fifty (50) pounds to uphold inventory replenishment.
