Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer on a contract basis with deep technical expertise in automation, strong programming fundamentals, and hands-on experience in modern DevOps environments. The ideal candidate is capable of leading testing strategy, building scalable automation frameworks, and influencing quality across the entire engineering organization. Experience with AI-driven testing or AI-enabled systems is a strong plus.

Location : Remote working eastern hours

This job expects to pay about $60 – $75 per hour plus benefits

What You’ll Do :

• Build and maintain UI & API automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium .
• Write high-quality test code in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Develop integration, end-to-end, and contract / API testing (REST, GraphQL).
• Contribute to performance, reliability, and basic security testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Use observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) to debug and diagnose issues.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and SRE to define test strategies and quality standards.
• Mentor QA engineers and support process improvements.
