We set the high performance standards that ensure our vehicles run smoothly and keep passengers safe, then design and perform the tests that validate that performance. In this hybrid role, you will report to a Systems Test Engineering Manager, Motion Control.

Responsibilities

• Organize test campaigns subject to project milestones and verification cycles
• Write test plans and procedures, and develop scripts to automate their execution and analysis
• Perform objective and subjective vehicle assessment using commercially available and Waymo‑developed tools and methods
• Translate actuator, vehicle, electrical, and control motion control architecture and actuator requirements to verification tests and execute in vehicle
• Analyze and visualize test results and report findings
• Lead issue and root cause identification efforts

Salaries and Benefits

Salary range : $158,000 — $200,000 USD. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
