A middle school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a Severe Cognitive Impairment (SCI) classroom near Anderson, IN. The position is a contract role for the current school year, starting as soon as possible through June 2, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek. Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with severe cognitive impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence.
• Utilize crisis prevention intervention (CPI) techniques to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families and staff.
