Contract Length : 13-week travel RN assignment

Shift : Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts / week (07 : 00 – 17 : 30)

Hours per Week : 40 hours guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,370 - $2,430

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse contract

Setting : Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Acute Care Teaching Hospital

Charting System : EPIC EHR

Scrub Color : Ceil Blue

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

Minimum 18 months of recent Cath Lab RN experience (2 years preferred)

Active Registered Nurse license (Compact RN licenses accepted)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start date)

Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) and Vascular procedures preferred

Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Willingness to float within scope as needed

Two recent professional references from Cath Lab leadership (within past 12 months)

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

All requested time off must be included at submission

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

Monitor and manage patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab

Administer and monitor procedural sedation for cardiac patients

Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias

Assist with left / right heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line / Swan Ganz monitoring, and advanced cardiac procedures

Participate in on-call rotation (approx. 9 shifts in a 5-week period)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC electronic health records

Complete all required onboarding modules promptly
