Senior Environmental Law Attorney -65

Boutique environmental law firm in Racho Palos Verdes is seeking an Environmental Law Attorney with a minimum of 7 years experience. Will work with the ideal candidate to find the right combination of billable hours, offering a flexible, hybrid schedule and the ability to work out of either their main office or their Los Angeles location. The firm strives to respect their attorney's time and provide a stress free environment. Ideal candidates will have the ability to work independently to mange their assigned cases, will be hardworking and driven and will be fully committed to the firm's success. All candidates must be willing to take a predictive index test.

Qualifications:

• Must have a CA bar license in good standing
• Must have 7+ years of experience in environmental law preferred but will also consider experience in basic litigation, administrative attorney roles with government agencies, or attorney experience in science

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting with clients, keeping them updated on matter developments
• Identifying clients’ objectives and using strategic and creative thinking to make appropriate recommendations to achieve those goals
• Being diligent in obtaining necessary information from clients, agencies, opposing parties, and others
• Demonstrating exceptional legal research and clear, persuasive, writing
• Clearly explaining complex, nuanced, legal concepts and technical information
• Understanding how to assimilate technical and scientific data and reports into legal analysis

Salary & Benefits:

• $125-$175k dependent upon experience with bonus structure
