Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in turning strategy into execution. This position supports product launches, pricing programs, digital campaigns, and customer communications by coordinating projects, managing vendors, analyzing market data, and maintaining accurate customer-facing materials.
This is a highly organized, detail-driven role designed for someone who enjoys running multiple projects, working with internal teams and outside contractors, and ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, including product launches, promotions, catalogs, digital content, and sales tools
- Create and maintain project timelines, task lists, and deliverables
- Track progress and ensure deadlines are met across marketing, sales, and external vendors
- Coordinate approvals, revisions, and final production
Vendor Coordination
Work directly with external agencies, designers, web developers, printers, and content creatorsEnsure all vendor work meets brand standards, technical requirements, and deadlinesServe as the main point of contact for marketing contractorsMarket Analysis & Competitive Intelligence
Research competitor pricing, product positioning, promotions, and channel strategiesAnalyze trends in education, B2B, and retail marketsIdentify opportunities for pricing improvements, product bundles, and new product launchesSummarize findings into clear recommendations for leadershipCustomer Price Lists & Sales Tools
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer price lists, discount programs, and product dataCoordinate pricing updates across ERP, website, catalogs, and sales toolsAssist in building customer-specific pricing, programs, and quotesSupport sales with sell sheets, product matrices, and pricing comparisonsReporting & Performance Tracking
Track campaign performance, product launches, and promotionsCreate reports on :Sales performance
Product adoptionPricing effectivenessCampaign ROIMaintain dashboards and summaries for leadership reviewsMarketing Systems Ownership (Salsify & HubSpot)
Serve as the primary administrator for :Salsify (Product Information Management)
HubSpot (CRM, Marketing, and Sales tools)Ensure product data, pricing, images, attributes, and descriptions are accurate and synced to :Websites
Sales toolsMarketplacesCustomer price listsMaintain customer records, segmentation, pipelines, and campaign data in HubSpotSupport sales and marketing teams with clean, reliable dataMarketing Operations Support
Help manage product data, images, videos, and downloadable contentSupport website updates, landing pages, and promotionsCoordinate email campaigns, digital ads, and print collateralEnsure consistent branding and messaging across all channelsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field2+ years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or business operationsStrong organizational and project-management skillsExperience working with outside vendors or agenciesComfortable working with data, pricing, spreadsheets, and reportsStrong written and verbal communication skillsCompensation Range - $40,000 - $45,000
