We are currently recruiting an experienced Speech Therapist for Ohio Oaks Nursing Center, with an option for FT hours at a nearby facility. SIGN ON BONUS 5,000 for the Full-time schedule and travel reimbursement!

Speech Therapist that is licensed or in the immediate process, and qualifies, of obtaining Speech Therapist licensure in the state of Ohio to work in the specialty area of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Long Term Care (LTC).

Speech Therapist Key Duties

The Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for residents in healthcare, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings. The Speech Therapist collaborates closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication abilities, cognitive-linguistic skills, and swallowing safety. This role focuses on enhancing residents' quality of life by helping them regain functional communication and swallowing abilities.

Speech Therapist Qualifications

  • 1 year experience as a Speech Therapist specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Long Term Care (LTC).
  • Current Speech Therapist license in Ohio.
