ESL Instructor

Position Summary : We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time ESL Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English as a Second Language to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. This position requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment. The schedule is flexible, the hours for instruction can be scheduled between 9 : 00am to 2 : 00pm.

Essential Duties :

• Understand and promote the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assess students' language proficiency and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and collaboration.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance language acquisition.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and administer assessments to measure student learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with ESL teaching methodologies and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned .

Education

Bachelors (required)

Experience

At least 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a community setting and have a Certificate or higher in TESOL or equivalent. (required)
