Collections and Deductions Analyst

ROLE IMPACT

This role supports financial recovery and accuracy across a $200MM+ receivables portfolio.

You will handle complex client accounts, identify root causes of disputes and deductions, and maintain strong internal and external communication to drive resolution and mitigate financial risk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze and reconcile high-volume customer disputes, payments, credits, invoices, and contracts

Research deductions and perform root cause analysis using SAP and customer / vendor portals

Communicate directly with customers, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to resolve payment issues

Maintain, evaluate, and adjust A / R balances and support credit and collections decisions

Generate credit memos, support audits, and ensure SOX / GAAP compliance documentation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s in Accounting / Finance required

5+ years A / R dispute resolution and cash application analysis in large organizations

Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas)

Strong experience with SAP or other enterprise-level accounting systems
