About the Role :

The Baler Operator on the 3rd Shift plays a critical role in the efficient processing and compacting of recyclable and waste materials within a durable goods manufacturing environment. This position ensures that materials are properly baled to meet quality and safety standards, facilitating smooth downstream handling and transportation. The operator is responsible for monitoring equipment performance, performing routine maintenance, and promptly addressing any operational issues to minimize downtime. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount to maintain a safe working environment and to comply with company and regulatory standards. Ultimately, the role supports the company’s sustainability initiatives by optimizing waste management and recycling processes.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Previous experience operating industrial baling equipment or similar machinery.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
