EHS Manager

IntePros is currently looking for an EHS Manager to join one of our growing manufacturing clients in Fairfield, CA. The EHS Manager is a key member of the Operations team, reporting directly to the Fairfield Plant Manager with a dotted line to the EHS Director of NA. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive safety and compliance programs in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. The EHS Manager will lead initiatives to ensure a safe working environment, with a strong focus on Lockout / Tagout (LOTO), Machine Guarding, Hazard Communication (HazCom), and other critical safety systems. You will work with the Management Team and Safety Committee to continue to maintain, develop, and improve clients Safety, Training, and Compliance programs. Develop and train employees across all shifts and departments to improve understanding and ability while fostering a teamwork atmosphere.

EHS Manager Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs in compliance with Cal / OSHA, federal, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with department managers to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies.
• Conduct all Safety-related training and re-training on all shifts to include LOTO, First Aid / Bloodborne Pathogens, Hearing Conservation, Hazard Communication, Forklift, Walking Working Surfaces, as well as conduct all new hire orientations ensuring all documentation is current.

This will require a flexible work schedule to accommodate the training of the off-shifts by either coming in early or staying late
