What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential hazards. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the location. Observe and report any unusual activities, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or providing guidance during drills and / or real emergencies. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures. Minimum Requirements : Proof of high school diploma or GED is required for this client. Hospital may require proof of vaccines. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
