Duties

• Safely operate buses for various purposes including school transportation, community transit, or specialized services such as paratransit or senior care.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition, checking mechanical systems and safety features.
• Follow designated routes and schedules accurately, adjusting as needed for traffic or weather conditions.
• Communicate clearly with passengers, providing information about routes, stops, and safety procedures in English or multiple languages as applicable.
• Manage behavior onboard by applying effective behavior management techniques to ensure a safe environment for children, seniors, or other vulnerable populations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those requiring childcare support or mobility assistance.
• Maintain detailed records of trips, incidents, and vehicle maintenance logs in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
