Job Opening : Locum Medical Oncologist in Richmond VA

Join a dedicated team at the Bon Secours Cancer Institute located within St. Marys Hospital in Richmond Virginia. This facility offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient services focused on providing exceptional care in oncology and hematology. With a strong emphasis on patient-centered treatment this position allows you to make a significant impact in the lives of adults facing cancer and blood disorders.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Oversee a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Enroll patients in research studies.
  • Provide call coverage as needed.
  • Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Document patient information utilizing the EPIC EMR system.
  • Manage an average patient load of 12-15 per day in a hospital setting.

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified in Hematology / Oncology (Required)
  • Active Virginia Medical License (Required)
  • Current BLS certification (Required)
  • Clean background check; submission of NPDB during name clears (Required)
  • Local candidates preferred; only mileage will be reimbursed (Required)
