Summary

Position Overview : The Floater at Empower Learn Create at UC is responsible for engaging children in a constructivist classroom environment tailored to their developmental needs. This role requires a passionate and flexible educator who can foster a nurturing and stimulating learning atmosphere where infant, toddler, and preschool children can explore, create, and grow. ELC at UC has a commitment to teaching with a social emotional lens. The environment supports the teacher's role with a beautiful natural play space and innovative art studio. Our hours of operation are 8-5 Monday through Friday.

Duties

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities based on constructivist principles to promote holistic development in children.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to execute learning experiences that align with the center's educational philosophy and goals.
• Provide individualized support and guidance as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and partnerships to support children's learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and other relevant documentation as required by regulatory standards.
