Talent & Onboarding Generalist is a fundamental role within the Human Resources department, encompassing responsibilities that span the entire employee lifecycle. This role is dedicated to identifying and attracting top-tier talent through comprehensive recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening candidates and collaborating closely with hiring managers. This position provides HR support to management and employees in the following areas : HR Policy & Benefits, training, workforce planning and retention, recruiting sourcing, coordination, and onboarding, as well as subject matter expertise relative to administrative, transactional processes, and data integrity. This position will report to the Director, Human Resources.
Responsibilities :
- Examine workforce plans and design various recruitment strategies in order to attract quality candidates and advance the market position
- Design and maintain effective relationships with station managers, department managers, and executive leaders for recruitment and retention implementation
- Prepare an efficient network and design workflow strategies for all internal and external candidate sourcing, including screening, interviews, and pre / post‐employment qualification checks that lead to filling all open employee requisitions
- Responsible for managing job posts, updating job descriptions and pay ranges
- Establish partnerships with educational institutions, military, and volunteer networks. Track EEO-1 initiatives for job postings.
- Foster an inclusive workplace culture that values integrity, diversity, collaboration, and continual improvement
- Coordinate the onboarding process and manage orientation for all islands providing a cohesive onboarding journey for new hires
- Create and administer corporate trainings
- Responsible for ADP Onboarding, Recruiting, and Benefits enrollment. Including but not limited to HC-5 Forms, background checks, I-9, E-Verify, and referral bonuses.
- Assist team members with ADP timecards, benefits, and general policy inquiries
- Contribute to the accuracy of maintaining all employee files and data integrity.
- Manage Employment Verifications
- Assists in planning and executing employee appreciation days or events to further enhance company work culture.
- Assisting with payroll and other Human Resource related projects
- Perform all other duties as may be required or assigned
Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.or least three (3-5) years of talent / human resource experienceProven track record of implementing successful strategies, particularly related to employee recruitment, productivity, and retentionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPreferred : Knowledge of Hawaii labor lawsBenefits :
