Night shifts, including 8 and 12-hour shifts with every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation.

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :

Be part of our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you will care for patients with :

Post-operative craniotomies and spine surgeries

Comprehensive care for hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients

Medical overflow cases

As a part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), experience the latest techniques in neurosurgical care.

Your Role as a Registered Nurse :

Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care

Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care delivery

Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to ensure positive patient outcomes

Enhance patient experience throughout their care journey

Major Responsibilities :

Assess patient needs, devise care plans, and evaluate care effectiveness

Recognize and respond to significant changes in patients' conditions

Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and education

Coordinate discharge plans with an interdisciplinary approach

Engage in continuous evaluation of unit and patient outcomes

Qualifications :

Registered Nurse license valid in your state

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Completion of an accredited nursing program

Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred

Proficient in computer skills and electronic health records

Physical Requirements :

Ability to perform various physical activities including lifting, bending, and pushing

Must adhere to safety standards and utilize protective equipment as necessary
