Regional Truck Driver (2nd Shift - Sundays to Thursdays) – Schofield, WI

We are currently seeking a candidate for the Regional Truck Driver role at our Schofield, WI facility.

JOB SUMMARY

The 2nd Shift Regional Truck Driver is considered a “slip-seat” position, where the driver will share a truck with a 2nd Shift Driver. This role is responsible for delivering and / or picking up bulk / packaged material from suppliers or to customers in a safe and fuel-efficient manner. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to the following :

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

I. DELIVERING / PICK-UP OF MATERIALS

• The majority of loads in this role are drop & hook
• Deliver and / or pickup bulk / packaged material from suppliers or to customers in a safe, legal, and fuel-efficient manner, while exercising good judgment regarding weather and road conditions
• Drivers are required to assist in the loading and unloading of trailers
• Loading of trailers requires the ability to climb ladders, roll tarps back on top of the trailers, as well as the ability to climb into the back of the trailers
• Drivers must be able to drop and hook a trailer, which requires disconnecting hoses and cranking trailer landing gear up and down
