Intake specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Home Health Intake specialist to join our growing team. This is a full-time, Hybrid position with salary and benefits. The right candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth office operations and compliance within a home health setting.

Responsibilities

- Schedule patient visits and coordinate care.
- Run EMR reports to ensure proper visit types and frequencies are accurately plotted.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
- Participate in on-call rotation (one weekend per month).
- Enter new patients into EMR system and set up intake files.
- Verify patient benefits and create patient care threads.
- Submit authorizations as required to support patient care.

Qualifications

- 1-2 years minimum experience in a home health office setting.
- Proficiency with Kinnser (WellSky) EMR.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in a healthcare environment.

Compensation & Benefits
