Job Title : UI / UX Design Engineer

Location : Atlanta, Georgia 30334 (Onsite Local candidates only)

Duration : 8-month contract

Role Summary :

The Web Designer & UI / UX Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing engaging, user-centric web interfaces. This role combines creative design, front-end development, and data-driven insights using analytics to ensure the website meets both user needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with business analysts and content stakeholders to translate requirements into user-centered designs and UI deliverables.

Design intuitive, responsive, and accessible web interfaces.

Work closely with technical leads to ensure design feasibility and alignment with technical requirements.

Provide guidance and occasional mentorship to junior team members.

Utilize front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

Implement and maintain tracking tools (Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Hotjar, Mixpanel, etc.).

Analyze metrics such as bounce rates, conversion funnels, and session times to drive UX improvements.

Generate reports and insights for user engagement, conversion optimization, accessibility, SEO, and site performance.

Conduct A / B testing to validate design and content decisions.

Requirements :

5+ years of experience in UI / UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design.

Experience with CMS platforms, version control, data visualization, and dashboarding.

Proficiency with design tools : Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Canva, or similar.

Strong front-end skills : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, plus frameworks like React, Vue, or similar.

Knowledge of analytics tools : Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio.

Understanding of SEO principles and WCAG accessibility standards.

Experience with Agile development methodologies and GitHub or similar version control.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
