Title : Material Handler

Pay Rate : $18 - $20 / hr. DOE

Benefits include health, dental, and vision (eligible on the 1st of the month following your start date).

Employment Type : Contract

Shift / S chedule : Monday-Friday 7AM-3 : 30PM (may be flexible)

Location : Durham, NC 27703

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Material Handler to work on-site with our client, the world's largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with inventory and logistics colleagues to fulfill material work orders, perform cycle counts, asset inventory part requirements / safety stock levels, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate inventory balances through participation in cycle count program.
  • Fulfill manufacturing shop and customer orders to ensure timely delivery in support of device forecasts and demands.
  • Analyze trends to improve inventory accuracy and reduce inventory value.
  • Support Inventory Planner as needed.
  • Support Logistics functions as needed (Shipping, Receiving)

Qualifications :

  • High School degree required
  • Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Willingness to work in a team environment, and exhibit flexibility in the variety of work executed by the Global Inventory and Logistics team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to internal customers and external suppliers in a variety of formats.
  • Prior materials handler experience, within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain or other related field (preferred)
  • SAP Experience (preferred).
