Type : 6 month contract to hire (performance based)

We're seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer / ACAS System Administrator to join our NTCSS Systems Team at Norfolk VA. You'll lead vulnerability assessment operations using ACAS, coordinate mitigation planning, and serve as the primary interface for incident response efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability assessment operations using ACAS (Nessus, Security Center)
• Perform regular vulnerability scans and manage remediation tracking
• Conduct incident investigations and develop remediation strategies
• Generate ATO documentation supporting RMF accreditation
• Monitor system integrity through auditing and patch management
• Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements
• Design optimized security workflows to improve efficiency
