Truck Driver - Rental Equipment Delivery

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our equipment rental team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional driving experience. This role involves the safe and timely delivery, loading, and unloading of industrial and construction equipment to and from customer sites, as well as ensuring equipment is in excellent condition for customer use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport a variety of equipment, including industrial lighting, generators, and other rental machinery, to and from customer locations.
• Load and unload equipment using proper tools and techniques, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup logs, as well as necessary documentation for equipment condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries and pickups.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles and report any issues promptly to the fleet manager.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and traffic laws.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional truck driving experience.
• (Preferred) Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with industrial and construction equipment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment as needed (with assistance if required).
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
