Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a qualified professional to serve as a Visually Impaired Teacher supporting students in a K-12 setting in Milwaukee, WI. Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments
• Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the unique learning requirements of visually impaired students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success and accessibility
• Utilize assistive technologies and teaching strategies specific to visual impairment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
• Provide training and support to staff and families on best practices related to visual impairment
