Job Title : Project Finance Associate - Renewable Energy Projects

Location : Washington, DC

Pay : $310,000 - $365,000 + bonus eligibility

Schedule : Hybrid (On-site approximately 60% of the time)

Our client, an elite Am Law 100 firm, is recognized for its comprehensive corporate legal services and deep expertise in renewable energy project financing. Their Washington, DC office is seeking a Project Finance Associate with strong experience in project finance and renewable energy to support their growing energy project development and finance practice.

What you get to do :

  • Work on financing and development agreements for distributed and utility-scale renewable energy projects
  • Draft and negotiate financing documents, including credit agreements, partnership agreements, and security agreements
  • Manage commercial project documentation, including PPAs, EPCs, site control, and interconnection agreements
  • Conduct due diligence for high-impact renewable energy transactions

What you need to succeed :

  • JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admission or eligibility for admission in Washington, DC
  • Minimum of 4 years of project finance experience, ideally within a law firm
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
