Jama Connect Administrator

Tangram Flex is seeking a dynamic Jama Connect Administrator with Systems Engineering experience. In this capacity, you will act as the primary administrator for Jama, managing user permissions, project schemes, and complex workflows. Additionally will manage the interactions between Jama and other Digital Engineering tools, such as Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.

POSITION DESCRIPTION /

This role is critical for a modern engineering environment, ensuring proper requirement traceability throughout the Digital Engineering tools. Working with teams onsite at WPAFB, office and hybrid in the Dayton area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/

Primary Responsibilities:

• Configuration: Design and manage item types, relationship rules, and custom pick lists tailored to engineering workflows.
• Review: Managing the Jama Review Center processes to streamline development.
• Integration: Maintain the data flow between Digital Engineering Tools (Jama, Jira, & Cameo)
• Traceability: Maintain "live traceability" within Jama to ensure compliance and visibility from high-level system requirements down to granular test cases.
• Requirement Oversight: Reviewing requirements for style guide compliance across complex projects.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE /

Required:

• Active DoD Security Clearance or held within the last 12 months.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience with Requirement Management Systems (preferably Jama Connect).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system configurations and optimize software-to-software integrations.

Preferred :

• Systems Engineering Expertise: 5+ years of experience in writing requirements for complex systems.
• Tool Integration: Technical proficiency in using Jamas REST API or ReqIF for data exchange between platforms.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel by air, car, or other transportation methods.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8 hours/day).
• Ability to lift and carry lightweight items (e.g., laptops, demo equipment, marketing materials) up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, using a mouse, writing, and handling equipment.
• Visual acuity to read detailed technical documents, view computer screens, and operate software systems.
• Auditory ability to participate in meetings, customer demos, and conference calls, including in potentially noisy environments (e.g., trade shows or military facilities).
• Mobility to move between office spaces, customer sites, conference venues, and manufacturing or lab environments.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work environments (e.g., corporate offices, government buildings, industrial or lab spaces).
