Overview : $17 / Hour

Want to apply your skills in a fun and unique work environment? Come join the Carowinds crew ! As a n essential part of the Security department, you’ll work with the Dispatch team ! Here, you will operate and monitor the base radio console with nine frequencies.

Job Status / Type : Seasonal

Position Level : Associate

Shift / Schedule Requirements : Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Typical Work Schedule

  • 3-5 days per week
  • Shifts c an vary based on business needs and holidays

    • Positions are currently available for those who are 18 or older.

    Responsibilities :

    As a part of the Carowinds Dispatch team, y our daily assigned duties would be as follows :

  • Dispatch all routine and emergency traffic for assigned channels, including police / security and all first aid and fire department calls.
  • Monitor weather radar and lightning detector and advise appropriate units of weather conditions as directed by management.
  • Complete detailed reports before the end of scheduled shift on incidents occurring on the property.
  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

    • Qualifications :

  • Park experience OR dispatch experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited t o criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and open availability.
  • Driver’s license required .
