Staff - Chief Nursing Officer

Responsible for management and supervision of nursing staff in the hospital, in order to promote excellent patient care and satisfaction. Exhibit leadership by promoting cooperative effort between staff and physicians. Provides overall administrative direction and coordination for clinical policies, procedures and programs. Participates in the analysis, planning and strategic formation of clinical program goals. Analyzes practice operations and activities and will develop and / or recommend supporting policies and procedures. Manages and coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management and quality improvement programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives.

Pay Range : $65 to $72

Qualifications : Current Texas Nurses License Graduate of an accredited nursing school Masters degree required or in process of obtaining a Masters degree within 3 years, CNOR preferred Five years experience in operating room nursing Current BLS / ACLS / PALS required A minimum of 2 years experience with clinical supervision in a surgical
