About the role

As a founding member of our technology team, the Director of Engineering will play a pivotal role in shaping both our product vision and technology trajectory. You will lead and grow our engineering function from the ground up, partnering closely with the CEO and other leadership to define strategy, culture, and execution. This is more than a management role, you’ll be an architect of our future.

What you'll do

• Strategic & Technical Leadership

Define and execute the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company and Product goals.

Partner with Product and Designers as you lead the Engineering department to ensure user-centric development and rapid iteration on features based on user feedback.

Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team, including managers, architects, and individual contributors.

Oversee the secure and ethical handling of sensitive human data throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.

Experience in health-tech / consumer tech / clinical trials / biotech / life sciences in regulated space is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

The expected base pay range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for performance-based variable compensation and an equity grant, depending on the position and level.
