Job Description

The Account Director will be tasked with leading and growing the Neptune capabilities across CPG companies. The primary focus will be on growing our Kroger business with a 70 / 30 mix of account development and new business. The successful candidate will need to meet the below skills / capabilities / characteristics.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Strategically build upon current and new business relationships to close profitable business sales. Explore profitable sales opportunities with new business.
  • Create client-centric campaign options utilizing our full suite of capabilities and resources to address client needs.
  • Employ effective selling strategies to successfully increase revenue across accounts in a way that is aligned with company goals and profitability requirements.
  • Manages relationships and negotiations at all levels of assigned region / accounts.
  • Secure live meetings with senior-level decision makers to understand their business objective and how Neptune capabilities can help potential customers to achieve their goals, and to build out robust opportunity pipeline.
  • Ability to build recommendations based on data and insights is essential.
  • Engage with internal resources (Marketing, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, and Management) to both uncover business driving opportunities and elevate client proposals.
  • Maintain a weekly cadence of forecasting and reporting to management.

Requirements :

  • Demonstrated ability with tangible results and references to grow revenue through their own actions over at least three consecutive years
  • Passionate and driven by new business development and account growth potential
  • High energy self-starter with high-level of personal accountability who takes initiative and acts quickly within fast-paced environment
  • Success in building strong relationships with senior level decision makers
  • Highly analytical with demonstrated ability to leverage data to develop tailored solutions for clients
  • Ability to confidently and clearly communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Experienced selling within the CPG industry.
  • Experienced with using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Location : Cincinnati, OH - Travel as needed
