Ai Data Engineer

Kavaliro is seeking a highly skilled Ai Data Engineer to support an Ai focused startup. The selected candidate will build the learning data pipelines and architecture for an intelligence mechanism.

This isn’t a routine data engineering role. We need an architect capable of designing the data and feedback systems that allow an AI to learn, adapt, and improve on its own. The person in this seat will define how information flows, remembers, and evolves within a next-generation intelligence engine. It’s a chance to move beyond basic pipelines and infrastructure!

Required Qualifications :

• Senior Ai Data Engineer with 7+ years of production experience across Python, Node.js / TypeScript, and cloud-native systems (GCP preferred, AWS / Azure acceptable).
• Expert in data pipeline architecture, real-time event systems, and NoSQL design.
• Strong command of ETL orchestration, Pub / Sub messaging,
• Containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
• API resiliency patterns (OAuth2, rate limiting, etc).
• Proven record of shipping fast, diagnosing systems end-to-end, and operating calmly in production stress.

Thrives in early-stage environments requiring autonomy and execution.

Location : SoFL hybrid-local (be in the office more than at home) - Relocation assistance available

Compensation : $200k-250k plus Equity stake in company
