Sr Director of Manufacturing - Low Acid Aseptic
The Sr. Director of Manufacturing - Low Acid Aseptic is responsible for driving world-class operational performance across Niagara's low acid aseptic facilities. This centralized role supports all aseptic plants, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and cost optimization. In partnership with plant leadership, this position will develop and execute strategic initiatives, strengthen operational KPIs, and mentor Plant Directors to grow their leadership capabilities. The Sr. Director will also play a key role in evaluating new aseptic business opportunities and supporting the VP of Aseptic Manufacturing & Engineering in guiding organizational decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Strategic Leadership & Performance Management
Develops long- and short-term strategies to achieve world-class performance in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.Oversees execution of improvement plans, monitors KPIs, and reports progress to senior leadership.Identifies and shares best practices across aseptic facilities to accelerate performance gains.Quality & Food Safety
Partners with Corporate Quality to design and enhance food safety and quality systems specific to low acid aseptic beverages.Ensures adherence to regulatory and customer requirements while advancing industry-leading standards.Cost Optimization & Financial Stewardship
Monitors trends in plant-controlled costs including labor, MRO, utilities, and scrap.Develops strategies to optimize year-over-year spend and establishes best-in-class benchmarks.Supports aseptic plants in applying learnings to reduce costs and improve financial performance.Technology, Engineering & Capital Projects
Collaborates with technical engineering teams to evaluate emerging technologies and identify operational improvements.Provides guidance on CAPEX evaluations to ensure strategic, cost-effective investment decisions.Executive Partnership & Cross-Functional Influence
Serves as a proxy for the VP of Aseptic Manufacturing & Engineering in meetings, summits, and plant visits as needed.Acts as a primary liaison for cross-functional workstreams to improve alignment, communication, and project execution.Talent Development
Mentors high-potential leaders within Beverage Engineering and Manufacturing to support organizational growth and succession planning.Travel & Location
May initially be required to relocate to the flagship low acid aseptic facility in Temple, TX.As aseptic operations expand, this role will transition into a travel-focused position, with approximately 40% travel expected to support all aseptic sites.QUALIFICATIONS :
