Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant based in Battle Creek, MI. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with infectious diseases in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, prescribing treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare teams, and educating patients on disease prevention and management. Additional duties may involve coordinating with multiple healthcare facilities and maintaining accurate medical records. ​This role is primarily located within our Battle Creek credentialed locations-Select Specialty Hospital and Bronson Hospital. Additionally, services at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall will also be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and developing treatment plans
• Proficiency in managing infectious diseases and familiarity with evidence-based practices
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Attention to detail, ability to maintain thorough and accurate medical records, and time management skills
• Must have a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Michigan
• Experience in hospital and outpatient settings is preferred
• Comfort working in diverse and fast-paced healthcare environments
• Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies is required
