Office Manager

Description We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Office Manager in Carol Stream, Illinois. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a background in accounting, whether through coursework or practical experience, who are eager to develop their skills and grow professionally. This is a contract to permanent position, offering comprehensive training and opportunities to contribute to various office functions.

Responsibilities :

• Utilize Oracle to review customer histories, extract relevant details, and support data-driven decision making.
• Organize and analyze logistics data from customer files to prepare detailed reports.
• Create and manage pivot tables in Excel, perform margin analysis, and utilize advanced functions like MV lookup.
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records and transactions.
• Coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously to maintain smooth operations.
• Travel locally to client locations as needed to provide on-site support.
• Maintain the organization and replenishment of office supplies for effective workflow.
• Perform receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing incoming communications. Requirements - Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, demonstrated through coursework or experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Oracle software for managing customer and logistical information.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle diverse responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to travel locally when required for client-related tasks.
• Experience with accounts payable processes and general financial mathematics.
• Comfortable performing administrative tasks to support office efficiency.
