A company is looking for a Remote Jumbo Underwriter responsible for prudent underwriting of jumbo loans.
Key Responsibilities
Completes thorough analysis of loan files for compliance with company and investor requirements
Evaluates credit packages and collateral to ensure investment quality loan products
Communicates loan decisions to relevant parties and maintains underwriting activity logs
Required Qualifications
Minimum three years of mortgage underwriting experience with knowledge of underwriting guidelines
Experience with underwriting Jumbo products, including manual underwriting
Preferred experience with Non-QM, Conventional, FHA (DE), VA (LAPP / SAR), and USDA
Experience with private mortgage insurance guidelines preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
