Logistics Coordinator

Seeking a Logistics Coordinator in the Tempe Area. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will serve as a Remote Gate Agent, supporting thousands of drivers nationwide through two-way audio / video communication. Your role involves verifying truck specifications and processes, coordinating logistics, and providing consistent updates regarding the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers. This position requires a high level of detail orientation, fast-paced adaptability, and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as a Remote Gate Agent, supporting driver operations through audio / video communication.
• Verify and identify necessary specifications on trucks and processes.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with all parties involved in logistics operations.
• Provide daily updates regarding the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at various facilities.
• Handle approximately 200 driver communications per day, ensuring clear and excellent communication.

Work Environment :

This role requires on-site work five days a week. Training will occur Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm for three weeks, with the first day from 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm. Post-training, the schedule is Sunday to Tuesday, 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm with Wednesday and Thursday off. Mandatory overtime is expected during peak seasons from October to January, which includes an additional workday and 10-hour workdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 / hr.
