Our client is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Warehouse & Logistics Manager to take full ownership of our Brooklyn-based warehouse and transportation operations. What You’ll Be Responsible For

Warehouse & Transportation Operations

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations and a small fleet/driver team, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity.
• Manage labor scheduling and daily workload planning.
• Own inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and system discipline.
• Oversee transportation logistics including routing, carrier relationships, and freight cost control.

KPI-Driven Performance & Accountability

• Design and implement meaningful KPIs across warehouse and transportation functions.
• Build daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable through clear expectations, feedback, and performance reviews.

Systems & Process Transformation

• Help transition operations from manual/visual tools (whiteboards, clipboards) to a system-driven ERP/WMS environment.
• Develop, document, and enforce SOPs for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and dispatch.
• Drive consistency, repeatability, and scalability across all workflows.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and schedule warehouse associates and drivers.
• Establish a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and strong housekeeping standards.
• Identify training needs and develop team capabilities to support growth and efficiency.

Financial & Resource Management

• Manage the warehouse and transportation operating budget.
• Analyze labor, freight, and operational costs to identify savings and efficiency gains.
• Ensure effective use of space, equipment, and personnel.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive warehouse and transportation leadership experience, ideally in distribution, 3PL, or military environments.
• Proven experience managing operations through an ERP or WMS system.
• Strong track record of creating and using KPIs to drive measurable improvements in accuracy, productivity, and cost.
• Solid knowledge of transportation logistics, routing, DOT compliance, and carrier management.
• A leader who is:
