An established Bankruptcy Law Firm is hiring a Legal Assistant in Miami 33155. This is a permanent position with full time hours. Compensation is up to $38.00/hr + benefits.
About the law firm: An established law firm with a focus on consumer bankruptcy. The firm also handles family law, real estate and some foreclosure matters. This is a small firm with less than 10 attorneys.
About the position: The bankruptcy legal assistant will assist the attorney and paralegal in a variety of Consumer BK legal work; meeting clients, preparing bankruptcy petitions, reviewing and filing documentation. Administrative and clerical duties as needed. Applicants must be bilingual and fluent/advanced conversational in both English & Spanish.
Minimum Requirements
1+ year BK experience
Strong administrative & organizational skills
Bilingual: English / Spanish
