Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)

MLR is seeking a dedicated and flexible Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's esteemed healthcare facility near San Ysidro, NM. This dynamic role allows you to work across various departments, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities for Float Pool RN :

  • Provide outstanding nursing care in multiple units, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and enhance patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with hospital standards.
  • Educate patients and families about health management, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
  • Offer support and flexibility during peak times or special circumstances.

Qualifications for Float Pool Registered Nurse :

  • Active RN licensure in New Mexico required.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and CPR are required; PALS and TNCC certifications are preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute care settings; diverse specialty experience is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and patient needs.
