Associate Principal (Building Enclosure)

What You'll Do Consulting services for the built environment including, but not limited to, specialized building enclosure and/or structural testing, building enclosure and/or structural consulting, forensic investigations, property condition assessments, and design of repairs to existing structures Leading and coaching junior staff members to develop technical expertise, project management, and client relationship skills Project Management including: Scoping projects Preparing and reviewing proposals Assisting project managers Preparing and reviewing technical reports Preparing and reviewing technical drawings and specifications for construction Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing strong client relationships Participate in local and regional professional and industry organizations. Participate in technical groups within ECS to facilitate knowledge sharing across the company What We're Looking For 12+ years of relevant professional experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical and demonstrable problem-solving aptitude Ability to collaborate and guide multi-disciplinary teams through complex projects Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Architectural Engineering with expertise and experience in Building Enclosure and/or Structural Engineering services. Master’s Degree Preferred.
