Accounting Associate - General Ledger Reconciliations

Plant City, FL | $25-28 / hour | On-site

A reputable company in the Plant City area is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support their accounting team with a strong focus on high-volume general ledger reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced Accounting Manager in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform high-volume account reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with journal entries and month-end close activities
  • Support the Accounting Manager in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage and analyze financial data
  • Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports and schedules

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas)
  • Experience working within an ERP environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
