K&C Trucking is a local steel carrier that specializes in hauling dump and flatbed freight.

We take pride in our service, some of our accounts require 24 / 7 / 365 attention. We have been providing this exceptional care since 1968.

About the Job

We can train the right candidate to ensure the driver knows how to do the work expected.

The driver will be going to the local steel mills in northwest Indiana. The shift would start at 5pm and finish at 3am. Start and ending times would vary based on how much work needs to be done. The job is on an 'on call' basis and paid accordingly.

Must be able to climb up on the trailer and be able to get in and out of the truck several times.

Home Time

  • Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
  • Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

  • Class A license
