School Psychologist

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist is needed for a leave contract position at a high school located in Providence, Rhode Island. This role requires a qualified professional skilled in providing psychological services to support student academic achievement and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist in intervention planning
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies

Qualifications:

• Licensed School Psychologist credential or equivalent
• Experience working within a high school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
